Project Reach helps families with school age children. We assist homeless families and try to prevent families from becoming homeless.
The EscaRosa Coalition On the Homeless (ECOH) and Project REACH have no funds to assist families, but will seek to find assistance and provide referrals for families. We seek to keep children in school or help them enroll in school. Our goal is to remove barriers to school attendance. We work with the school system and Project TOUCH to assist the homeless. The Project is funded by the Escambia County School System, Title I office through a contract with the EscaRosa Coalition On the Homeless (ECOH).
Project REACH provides for a Part-time School Social Worker for the Homeless and two Part-time Hispanic Advocates. The contract provides for a Referral service for homeless families with school age children.
